Carrie Powers professional photographer and owner of Trefz Photography was born and raised in Vinton Iowa and chose to start a business in her home town, shortly after college. She will help everyone she photographs Show your style.

Carries work has won here numerous awards, including the grand prize in the Hot Tots and Cool Kids in 2004 a national portrait contest put on by American Color imaging. One of her photographs was featured in Road King Magazine in 2000. She has cliental not only in Eastern Iowa but also on the east coast in New York and New Jersey. Making a trip to the coast one week out of the year.

While juggling a family with her husband Shane and two young boys Weston and Eli she looks forward to the challenge of the business, and to be the best at portrait photography. She thrives to be different from other photographers to give you something original. In fact lots of her customers need a tissue while viewing their pictures for the first time. That gives her pride and drives her to her next photo shoot.
